The story about Cypionate, Propionate, Enanthate in general

In the 1930s, testosterone was developed and allowed to be administered to individuals with low levels of their own testosterone. While Cypionate, known as Testosterone Suspension, was very helpful, its fast-acting nature made it difficult and expensive to use. Therefore, the researchers soon came up with a new version, testosterone with a small amount of the Testosterone Propionate ester. It was widely available in 1937 and provided all the benefits of testosterone suspension but with a more measured and slower release. Because the Propionate ester was small, the half-life was still relatively short, and researchers soon proposed two more versions, Enanthate and Cypionate.

The last one, Testosterone Cypionate, has the largest ester of all three variants, and therefore the longest half-life and slowest release. It was first created for medical use in the 1950s and sold by Upjohn under the brand name Depo-Testosterone. To this day, Testosterone Cypionate is known by that name.

Beginning in the 1960s, Cypionate became the option of choice for a new generation of bodybuilders.

In the 1970s, the FDA discontinued the use of anabolic steroids and revoked the license for many of Cypionate's therapeutic uses, leaving only testosterone replacement therapy as the only approved use.

Course and combinations of testosterone Cypionate

Perhaps there is no other drug that would be better for a cycle of mass than testosterone, and the versatility of Cypionate allows you to combine it with a number of other steroids for maximum effect.

Preparations with which Cypionate is ideally combined:

  • Boldenone
  • Trenbolones
  • Oxymethalone
  • Growth hormone (somatotropin)

Clomid is sometimes required to be added to the course to reduce the incidence of estrogenic effects.

Testosterone Cypionate Dosage and Application

Cypionate is produced exclusively in injectable form and is administered intramuscularly to avoid shock in the bloodstream with a sudden influx of the drug.

Although the ester is long lasting, most users prefer to administer more frequent lower doses than larger doses, only once a week. This is believed to be easier for the body to process and less likely to cause side effects.

The exact dosage of Testosterone Cypionate depends on two reasons for use:

  • When adding other anabolic steroids to counter testosterone decline, a dose of about 200 mg per week is usually sufficient.
  • When used primarily to improve one's performance, the dosage is much higher, ranging from 400 to 1000 mg per week. The typical range of use is around 600mg, as this seems to provide optimal effects while minimizing side effects.
  • The maximum course duration is 16 weeks.

    Half life

The half-life of Cypionate is longer than that of Propionate and Enanthate, as it has the largest attached ester. This means that it takes longer for the body to break it down, and during this period, the steroid constantly enters the bloodstream.

The half-life is approximately 12 days, slightly longer than Enanthate but significantly longer than Propionate. However, it will remain detectable in the body for much longer, up to three months. This may be a consideration for athletes taking pre-competition testosterone injections.

    Positive Effects

Testosterone has been around since the 1930s, and Cypionate since the 1950s, and there's a very good reason for their long-term appeal, they provide many benefits with minimal side effects.

The addition of mass and muscle density is a clear benefit of testosterone, and these gains can often be well maintained even after the cycle has been completed. There is also a corresponding increase in strength, but this is partly due to the fact that testosterone allows people to train longer and harder, and promote faster recovery.

An increase in red blood cell volume means that there is a more efficient delivery of oxygen to the body, and collagen also gets a boost, providing protection to bones and joints.

Potential Side Effects of Testovera C

Testosterone is the oldest anabolic steroid and is considered the gold standard for all others. Although Testover C was not developed until several decades later, it shares many of the same qualities as the original testosterone. The only difference is ether, which controls the rate of release and elimination from the body.

    Androgenic effects

Testosterone is a highly androgenic drug that is converted to dihydrotestosterone in the body through the enzyme 5-alpha reductase. Once converted, it has a very potent androgenic effect and may cause some or all of the following:

    • Oily skin
    • Excess body hair growth
    • Deepening the voice
    • acne
    • Hair loss

Not everyone will suffer from androgenic effects, especially since testosterone is one of the most tolerated anabolic steroids. However, those who are sensitive may suffer from any or all of the above.

    Estrogenic effects

Testosterone Cypionate is a flavoring steroid, and if taken along with another flavoring steroid in the stack, very strong estrogenic side effects can occur.

Fluid retention, bloating, and gynecomastia can result from excess estrogen, but can be resolved by lowering the dosage or by adding an aromatase inhibitor.

    Hair loss

The androgenic effects in the body mean that anyone who has the male pattern baldness gene can lose hair while taking this steroid. Hair loss will only occur in people who have the gene, regardless of the dose taken. Those without the gene will not suffer from hair loss even at very high doses.

People who have the male pattern baldness gene may find that their hair loss is rapidly accelerated when taking Cypionate.

Finasteride may be effective against hair loss while taking testosterone cypionate because it blocks the conversion to dihydrotestosterone. This will not stop all androgenic effects completely, but will result in a significant reduction, preventing exposure to the scalp and leading to hair loss.

    Liver toxicity

There is no evidence that Testosterone Cypionate is liver toxic even at higher doses.

    Other effects

Taking testosterone causes temporary testicular atrophy because it stops the natural production of the hormone. Once the cycle is complete and PCT begins, natural testosterone production will gradually return to normal levels and any atrophy in the testicles will resolve.

    Contraindications

Like other forms of testosterone, Cypionate is extremely well tolerated and any side effects can usually be controlled. However, for some people, a steroid should not be taken without first consulting a doctor. Any person with a history of any of the following should refrain from using Cypionate or any other form of testosterone unless it is clearly stated that they are safe to do so:

    • Diabetes
    • Lung or respiratory diseases
    • Thrombosis or bleeding disorders
    • Increase in red blood cells
    • Heart disease, including heart attack
    • kidney disease
    • Tumors of the prostate
    • Mammary cancer
    • Elevated cholesterol

Women who are either pregnant or breastfeeding should also avoid taking testosterone, as safety has not been proven.

Is it safe for women to use Cypionate (Testover C)

As a pure Testover C, it is generally not recommended for women due to its strong androgenic effect. This leads to virilization effects that can become permanent if the drug is not stopped. The general consensus is that other anabolic steroids that have a milder androgenic effect are more suitable for use in women, such as Primobolan and Anavar.

Another problem is that the half-life of Testover C is the longest of all testosterones.

Application of Testover C in sports

Warton Tietz: Testosterone is widely used in all sports due to its ability to not only increase muscle mass and strength, but also improve performance and recovery.

There is no sport where testosterone has not been used, from cycling to athletics, but perhaps the communities where it is used the most are bodybuilding and powerlifting. Using Testover C allows people to train much harder between competitions and gives them an edge even after the course is over, with muscle mass usually well maintained.
